Medyza is a translucent green jellyfish-like denizen with a visible inner dome. The bottom of its body has an opaque, white rim from which six long, thin, green tentacles hang down. It has long, tear-drop shaped eyes on its inner dome.

Medyza spawns exclusively within Sweetflake's ocean. Medyza is not known to metamorphosize.

Medyza's range spans the entirety of Sweetflake's ocean. They are most frequently found at medium depth or slightly further up.

Despite their visual similarity to Earth's jellyfish, Medyza's tentacles lack both the venom and barbs which allow for objects such as prey become "stuck" within jellyfish's tentacles. Instead, they use their tentacles in a scooping motion to wrap around and maneuver objects in their surroundings.
