Glydice is an insectoid denizen with a segmented, white body. It has two pairs of translucent green wings. The wings in front are larger than the wings in the back. It has a square-shaped head with nub-like protrusions on top, tiny, pointy fangs, and very large, square-shaped green eyes. It has three pairs of legs and a long, narrow tail ending in a club shape.

As a post-metamorphosis denizen, Glydice does not spawn. Instead, it will metamorphosize from Namphe when under the correct conditions. Glydice is the final stage of its metamorphic line.

Glydice are most often found flying above Sweetflake's snowy terrain. They land on snow structures to rest or relax and typically avoid landing directly on the ground except to interact with something there.

Glydice are remarkable flyers with the ability to fly incredibly quickly and make sudden, tight turns. Their wings are not shaped in a way that would imply this, so it is theorized that they have an invisible ability to influence the air currents around them to allow for these feats of motion.
