Quartzworld is a vast network of underground caverns made entirely of quartz-like crystals. It seems to be an endless labyrinth of passages with no entrances or exits to any potential "surface." Because all the surfaces are coated in crystals, there are no smooth paths which can make traversal of the zone fairly difficult. The crystals are not sharp enough to cut a person when merely brushed up against, but falling and slipping can cause injuries. The size of the crystals varies from around palm-sized to larger than a person. The make-up of the crystals resembles the structural arrangement of quartz, but instead of being silica-based, the mineral compound the crystals are comprised of is entirely unknown.
In some places, pools or even small lakes of clear water can be found. Analysis of the water's make-up has shown it to be mineral water, with traces of mineral compounds from the surrounding crystals. The pools may be nestled in small dips and corners of the zone, while lakes can cover relatively wide stretches of the cave systems. Due to the seemingly infinite nature of the zones, it has been theorized that larger lakes or even small oceans could eventually be encountered were a Charmer to travel deep enough into the zone.
