Sharden is a small, slug-like denizen with a spiky appearance. It is made of blue crystal.

Sharden can spawn in any area where there is sufficient room. Sharden will metamorphosize into Crawlstal under the correct conditions. Its metamorphosis can be recognized by the lengthening of its body and the flattening and broadening of its head.

Sharden's small size allows them to climb easily from crystal to crystal. They are found throughout Quartzworld, especially on small crystal outcroppings on cavern walls.

Sharden cluster together on walls or creep along the ground. Because they are so small and lack limbs, it takes them a very long time to get from place to place.
