Sockatrice has a sock-like head and a body covered in thin, red and orange fabric strips. It has two legs leading to flat, black feet. It has a long, bushy tail.

Sockatrice spawns on the exterior quilt of Patchwarp. It is not known to metamorphosize.

Sockatrice are mostly found on Patchwarp's exterior but may rarely venture into the interior. They are never found very deep into the interior and seem to prefer to stick to areas where they would be able to return to the surface quickly and easily.

Sockatrice are almost always solitary but occasionally gather into large flocks of ten or more for a period of time before dispersing again. There seems to be a pattern to these gatherings, but researching Charmers have yet to piece it together.
