Tictako is an inky black denizen with a two-dimensional appearance. Its body consists of a 3x3 grid with extra length afforded to the vertical lines on the bottom. The top middle square of the grid contains an O shape with two horizontal lines in it forming a head and eyes. The middle squares of the grid contain additional O's on the sides and an X in the center.

Tictako spawns most frequently on staircases and within rooms or hallways containing a window. It is not known to metamorphosize.

Tictako are found most commonly in transitional spaces between Pagebound's rooms, such as hallways and stairwells. They are rarely found within the rooms themselves, though it has been observed on occasion. They are able to clear short distances quickly on their long legs.

Tictako may come in different combinations of X's and O's on their bodies. They have a tendency to toy with Charmers, beckoning to them from the top of a staircase before disappearing and reappearing further down the hall.
