Mureplex is a denizen with its main body hidden inside three fused, hollowed-out pieces of a Highspire tower. The denizen itself is obscured from view aside from a pair of glowing eyes at the base of its shelter. Six pale yellow, insect-like legs stick out from underneath it. From the back sticks out a pale yellow tail with a piece of rough, spiky rock of a similar material as its shelter at its tip. Holes in its shelter reveal pale yellow riblike structures.

As a post-metamorphosis denizen, Mureplex does not spawn. Instead, it will metamorphosize from Mitremite when under the correct conditions. Mureplex is the final stage of its metamorphic line.

Mureplex are found on both the inner and outer walls of Highspire's towers, as well on the floors and bridges. Their grip is strong but their shells make them rather wide, so they are able to climb anywhere that they can fit.

Mureplex are difficult to startle and are only very rarely seen to retract into their shells due to this. They often seem to have a poor understanding of their increased width post-metamorphosis and have a bad habit of blocking doorways with their wide shells.
