Mitremite is a denizen with its main body hidden inside a broken-off, hollowed-out piece of a Highspire tower. The denizen itself is obscured from view aside from a pair of glowing eyes at the base of its shelter. Six pale yellow, insect-like legs stick out from underneath it. Holes in its shelter reveal pale yellow riblike structures.

Mitremite spawn within the towers of Highspire. Mitremite will metamorphosize into Mureplex under the correct conditions. Its metamorphosis can be recognized by its single shell splitting off into three conjoined shells and the sprouting of a tail.

Mitremite gather on the insides of Highspire's towers as well as clamber all over the outsides of the towers and various connecting walkways. They have very strong grip strength and cannot be dislodged from a wall against their will.

Mitremite make hollowed out shells from spines that have broken off of Highspire's structures. They have never been witnessed without their shells, and what they look like within is unknown. The rib-like structures seen through holes in the shell are thought to be organically created in order to reinforce it.
