Lackcluster is a denizen comprised of several tiny worm-like creatures working together as a single organism. The individuals making up Lackcluster have thin, tube-like bodies that taper into a hooked snout. They have small, beady black eyes and are a very pale beige in color. While not visibly connected, they always remain equally close to each other. The bottom halves of their bodies are always submerged in the ground.

Lackcluster spawn in the shallow waters covering Cleankeep. Lackcluster will metamorphosize into Unitangle under the correct conditions. Its metamorphosis can be recognized by the growth of its individual worms as they slowly tie themselves into a knot.

Lackcluster most frequently stick to the flooded streets of Cleankeep. They especially like to orient themselves so that they appear to be sticking out of the holes of manhole covers.

Lackcluster's lower bodies seem to vanish into invisible holes that are theorized to be part of the denizen's body. These holes or "pockets" seem to travel with them as they move, and they can retract into or lean further out of them.
