Haltsign is a somewhat tall denizen resembling a human stop sign. It has a red, hexagonal face with a white outline around the rim. Its face is blank aside from the English word "STOP" written in white in the middle. It has four long black-and-white striped tentacles attached to the back of its face.

Haltsign spawn anywhere outdoors in Cleankeep. It is not known to metamorphosize.

Haltsign are able to use their tentacles for propulsion even in the relatively shallow waters of Cleankeep. They prefer to gather wherever the water is deepest, most often on streets or other paved areas.

Haltsign are very tactile-oriented and tend to investigate things by touch before any other method. Their tentacles are very sensitive.
